Freeths enjoy new entries and improved rankings in the Legal 500

Top 60 law firm Freeths are celebrating yet another year of impressive rankings and recommendations in the Legal 500, the UK’s official guide to the legal sector.

Freeths operate nationally from 11 offices, offering a winning combination of legal expertise and common sense advice to commercial and private clients. Across the board, the firm are now ranked in the top tier for 22 legal categories, with a further 48 rankings for other specialisms.

Regarded as pre-eminent in their field, 24 individuals have been ranked as ‘Leading Elite Lawyers’ this year. Freeths also enjoyed a notable increase in ‘Recommended’ lawyers - rising to a formidable 144 lawyers (compared to 97 last year). 9 appeared as ‘Next Generation Lawyers’, a new section for unranked lawyers who excel in the client feedback and material value they bring.

Freeths proved that they are still at top of their game, holding on to their established 1st Tier rankings in Banking & Finance, Corporate & Commercial, Employment, Clinical Negligence, Charities, Family, Contentious Trusts & Probate, Personal Tax, Public Sector, Real Estate, Social Housing, Construction and Agriculture. They also achieved top tier rankings in the Planning and Property Litigation categories for the first time, standing out for their ‘excellent technical skills and deep understanding of clients’ businesses’ and ‘open, down-to-earth commercial approach’.
