We are proud to support Alzheimer's Society

Every year we choose a charity to support. Not only do we undertake some fantastic fundraising work but we also give time to help at the charity themselves.

This year, we are pleased to be supporting Alzheimer's Society.

They are the UK's leading dementia support and research charity, there for anyone affected by any form of dementia in England, Wales and Northern Ireland.

They provide information and practical and emotional support to help people live well with dementia, and invest in world-class research with the ultimate goal of defeating it.

They also campaign to improve public understanding of dementia and the devastating impact it can have.

On Saturday 20th May 2017 over forty Freeths staff recently took part in a charity skydive, raising over £22,000 for Alzheimer's Society. This takes the total amount raised by the firm during the year to £37,000.

The weather almost scuppered the plan at a few locations but eventually everyone got to complete the challenge, reaching heights of 10,000ft at speeds of up to 120mph before making the leap with a qualified skydiving instructor.

On Saturday 16th July 2016, staff from across 7 of our offices conquered the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Challenge for Alzheimer’s Society! Huge congratulations to everyone that took part and thank you to all who sponsored our team. Our intrepid trekkers climbed an incredible 3 mountains in under 12 hours - a challenge for event the keenest walkers!  Head to our recent news to find out their final fundraising total.
