About Aimee
Aimee is an experienced property litigator in the Thames Valley.
She advises on all commercial real estate litigation matters from initial risk strategy through to proceedings if matters cannot be resolved through mediation, arbitration or ADR. Aimee acts for institutional landlords, investors, corporate occupiers, developers and landowners on all landlord and tenant disputes, including business lease renewals, dilapidations, service charge disputes, forfeiture, trespass matters, tenant insolvency, rights of way and easement disputes, break notices, rent arrears recovery, contractual interpretation issues and issues surrounding landlord and tenant consent.
Aimee returns to Freeths after a number of years with Shoosmiths, having started her successful career with the firm in 2013.

Notable work & expertise
Aimee’s recent experience includes:
- Representing a landlord client under new and emerging covid rent arrears arbitration scheme and successfully recovering one of the most significant sums under the scheme;
- Advising a landlord client on strategy for obtaining vacant possession of a business park and contested lease renewals to make way for a sale to a developer to convert the site from office to industrial use; and
- Advising a landlord on recovering possession from a household F&B name following an insolvency event and resisting the right to pre-emption.
