Rhiannon Murphy

Rhiannon Murphy is a key member of the Leeds team, with direct involvement in high value commercial disputes advising a wide range of clients including individuals and companies. She is also heavily involved in the management and running of the “Post Office GLO Compensation Scheme” acting for over 400 Subpostmaster Claimants. She has assisted in designing and organising the Scheme with the Government for the full and fair resolution of claims arising out of the successful Post Office Group Litigation. 

Rhiannon possesses a strong understanding of the law and legal procedures and is assertive and determined in representing her clients' interests. She is dedicated to her craft and is a strong team player. Rhiannon is meticulous, reliable and passionate in achieving the right outcome. Her strong technical knowledge combined with her diligence and excellent organisational skills makes her stand out against her peers.

Rhiannon has had exposure to a variety of complex disputes throughout her career, and her particular areas of focus are: 

Alternative Dispute Resolution, Contractual & Lease Disputes, Commercial Litigation, Debt & Money Disputes, Defamation, Director and Fiduciary Duties Disputes, Enforcement & Asset Recovery, Partnership and Shareholder Disputes, Professional Negligence Litigation, Property Disputes, Restrictive Covenant Disputes, Supply of Goods and Services Disputes.

Rhiannon graduated from Sheffield Hallam University with an Honours Law Degree and went on to study her Legal Practice Course and Masters, part time at BPP University Law School Leeds, whilst working full time as a Dispute Resolution Paralegal in a firm in South Yorkshire.

Rhiannon qualified as a Dispute Resolution Solicitor in March 2021 and in April 2021, she dual-qualified with her SRA accredited Civil Higher Rights of Audience, joining (then) just 37% of qualified solicitors as a Solicitor Advocate.
