Freeths Director joins R3

Graeme Danby, Director and Head of Creditor Services at Freeths, has recently been appointed to the R3 Personal Insolvency Committee.

R3 is the UK’s trade association for insolvency, restructuring, advisory and turnaround professionals. R3 provides a range of services for members, including technical support, guidance, education and training.

Graeme heads up Freeths’ debt recovery offering, in addition to its creditor services department. He has vast experience in volume recoveries and advising creditors on the best course of action for recovery based on debt profiling, having previously held the role of Head of Litigation at the UK’s largest debt purchaser. Graeme acts for an increasing number of clients (including household names) in relation to debt and insolvency issues.

Mark Sands, Chair of the R3 Personal Insolvency Committee, commented:

“We have invited Graeme to join the committee in order to ensure that the voice of creditors is heard. Having considered possible candidates nationally, it was clear that Graeme is ideally placed to fulfil this role due to his deep understanding of both the creditor services and insolvency industries and his experience in advising creditors in relation to the unfortunate but sometimes unavoidable scenario where their customers enter into formal insolvency. We are delighted that Graeme has accepted our invitation to join the committee.”
