Northern Immigration Team host roundtable event with the Home Office

Last week, the northern immigration team, with support from Andy Nichol and Luke Hopkins (Liverpool – Real Estate) and the CBI, hosted a roundtable event at our new Liverpool office with Mark Doran, Deputy Director for EU Exit Immigration Strategy Department from the Home Office.

Attendees included Siemens, Halfords Group plc, Lancaster University, Lloyds Banking Group, Manchester Airport Group, Maria Mallaband Care Group and the Royal United Services Institute for Defence and Security Studies.

The event allowed leading North West businesses to share their views with the Home Office with regard to retention, movement and future recruitment of EU personnel. Attendees gained valuable insight into the Home Office’s new EU Settlement Scheme coupled with insider information.

The event was a resounding success; so much so, that the team hopes to host a similar event in the Yorkshire area later in the year, we will keep you posted.
