The Resilient Financial Services Business Seminar – Leeds – 7th November 2018
We are delighted to announce that on 7th November 2018 our specialist Financial Services lawyers team together with RSM’s specialist Financial Services indirect tax team will be hosting The Resilient Financial Services Business seminar.
The seminar is designed to help Financial Services businesses protect themselves against the inevitable, but as yet unquantified, changes and challenges which will be brought about not only by Brexit, but also by the domestic shifts and patterns which the sector is currently experiencing.
The specialist teams at Freeths and RSM will look at the following issues for Financial Services businesses:
- Adam Edwards, Regulatory Director at Freeths, and Justine McInnes, Indirect Tax Director at RSM, will focus on Brexit- what could it mean for Financial Services regulation, VAT and your business?
- John Forth, Indirect Tax Partner at RSM, will examine Making Tax Digital-are you ready for the digital revolution in tax?
- Peter Hill, Corporate Partner at Freeths, will talk about common pitfalls that arise during an M&A process and how, in a busy and competitive market, you can avoid them to ensure a successful sale of your business
This event will be relevant to all financial services businesses, in particular insurance brokers, financial advisers and in-house legal and tax teams.
