Freeths advises Omar Group on acquisition of UK Sundecks
The Corporate team at Freeths has advised Rutland Partners-backed Omar Group on its acquisition of family-owned UK Sundecks.
Suffolk-based Omar Group is the UK’s leading manufacturer of park homes and luxury lodges. The acquisition will complement Omar’s existing services by adding an even more comprehensive offering, including PVCu decking, skirting and steps.
Dean Westmoreland, Omar Group Chairman commented: “Our park customers are increasingly asking for the finished package – lodge, sited, decked, cleaned and ready to be handed over for sale or to let. Having a decking company as part of our brand portfolio will clearly help!”
Karl Jansen advised Omar Group on the acquisition, having advised Omar on the investment from Rutland Partners in 2017.
