A cross-office team from Freeths LLP led by corporate partner James Boulton (Stoke) advised BrandSafway, a global provider of access services to the industrial, commercial and infrastructure services on the acquisition of Lyndon Scaffolding plc.
Headquartered in Kennesaw Georgia, BrandSafway has approximately 350 strategic locations across 30 countries and around 35,000 employees and is backed by US private equity house Clayton, Dubilier & Rice.
Lyndon Scaffolding plc, one of the U.K’s largest independent access and scaffolding services businesses was founded in 1968 by brothers Patrick and Thomas Lynch and operates from locations in Birmingham, London, Manchester, Scotland and Wales and has sales of approximately £50 million and around 600 employees.
Lyndon Scaffolding has worked on some of the U.K.’s largest and most impressive projects including Jubilee Bridge at Runcorn, BBC Broadcasting House, Tate Britain, Severn Bridge, Birmingham Gateway Station, Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, and the Scottish Parliament Building.
