Freeths' Miles Hacking qualifies as an Insolvency Practitioner

Freeths LLP is pleased to announce Miles Hacking has passed his joint Insolvency law exams, with examination board, JIEB.

The exams took place in November 2018 with the results being announced in March 2019. Passing these exams is a pre-requisite to becoming a licensed insolvency practitioner.

Miles, an Associate within the Insolvency and Restructuring team in Manchester, will now be dual qualified, as both a Solicitor and an Insolvency Practitioner. Miles deals with all aspects of corporate and personal insolvency, acting in respect of a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious issues. He acts for both national and regional insolvency practitioners as well as company directors, debtors and creditors. Miles said 'I was really pleased to have passed the JIEB, which without the support of my family, friends and colleagues wouldn't have been possible.'

Kevin Pinkerton, Deputy Managing Partner of the Manchester office said 'This is a fantastic achievement; Miles' dual qualification will add further strength and depth to our growing team and behalf of all at Freeths we congratulate him'

Joey Byrne, National Head of Insolvency at Freeths, said 'This was the outcome of many months of hard work and Miles now joins a small number of dual qualified insolvency lawyers. Miles did extremely well to pass these challenging exams and this result reflects his dedication and commitment to the insolvency sector.'
