PIB Automotive and Freeths would like to invite you to an Automotive Client Academy. Working together, PIB Automotive and Freeths will be covering a number of topics relevant to businesses in the Automotive sector.

The Automotive Client Academy will cover the following topics:

Session One – Consumer Duty – Adam Edwards, Head of Financial Services Regulation at Freeths will provide a current overview and discuss the key areas of focus to ensure retailers are prepared for July’s deadline. James Cooper, Product Director, Cooper Solutions will focus on what suppliers are seeing in practice and how Coopers’ products can facilitate compliance with consumer duty regulations.

Session Two – Contractual Status – Richard Coates, National Head of Automotive at Freeths will be discussing some of the legal changes and challenges facing the automotive sector, covering OEMs, agency & franchise issues and the impact on dealers.

Session Three – Cyber – Stuart Copperwheat, Account Director, PIB Insurance Brokers will focus on cyber crime and how to protect your business from cyber attacks. Mona Schroedel, Managing Associate, Freeths will focus on practical steps after a breach has occurred including notifications, regulatory aspects and reputational management control as well as the litigation risks flowing from a breach.
