Chloe has recently qualified into the Dispute Resolution team in Leeds, having completed seats in Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Environment.
Throughout her training, Chloe has acted for clients across a broad range of business sectors including transport & logistics, food & drink, house-building, retail and manufacturing.
Chloe assists on a wide range of contentious matters, acting on both claimant and defendant side, and has experience dealing with both pre-action / settlement matters and live litigation.
- Assisting James Hartley in acting for a group of over 500 Subpostmasters in ongoing Group Litigation against Post Office Limited in relation to their Horizon accounting software.
- Acting for a large decorator merchant on a dispute relating to poor quality of work and service on a high profile client project. Chloe assisted in preparing robust pre-action correspondence and successfully reaching a settlement.
- Advising on various small supplier contract disputes, including a claim for damages in relation to a product supplied not being of satisfactory quality and a potential claim for breach of contract in connection with alleged poaching of staff.
