Natasha qualified as a Solicitor into Real Estate in May 2016 and has been working at Freeths LLP since July 2017. She has particular experience within the retail sector, acting for a major client on both freehold and leasehold transactions, including acquisitions, disposals and lease renewals.
Natasha has also spent a lot of time acting for local authorities, including acting for an authority in respect of site assembly work for a large high profile development. She has also worked on matters within the minerals sector, has provided support to her colleagues within the Corporate Department in respect of the property aspects of corporate transactions, and has acted on behalf of banks to protect their interests in re-finance transactions.
During her training contract, Natasha undertook seats in Commercial Dispute Resolution, Corporate and Real Estate. Prior to commencing her training contract, Natasha gained over two years experience working as a Paralegal within Real Estate.
- Acted on behalf of a national life sciences company in respect of a new lease and grant of an underlease of a recently developed bioscience building.
- Acted on behalf of a local authority in relation to site assembly work.
- Assisted on the real estate aspects of a share acquisition, the subject company of which had over 150 properties. This included reviewing and preparing high level reports upon a proportion of the company’s existing leases and documents incidental thereto.
Natasha has a wide range of experience acting for a major retailer with a large property portfolio.
