Welcome to the Winter 2016/2017 Agriculture Newsletter
Although we can hope that Spring is at least around the corner I am pleased to introduce Freeths’ Agriculture newsletter for Winter 16/17 and hope that you find something interesting in it.
This quarter our newly promoted Associate Hazel Eccles looks at planning concerns when dealing with grazing for horses and flags up some issues to bear in mind on that front. Sepideh Doostgharin has looked at Brexit from a slightly different angle, reviewing how we and our fellow professionals will need to meet the challenges it will bring (and what to do in the interim).
Our technical article on the level of evidence and data required when making planning applications is a salutary lesson from our Environmental team and really shows how decisions can turn on that data.
Finally we have an update from our Corporate defence team warning us about the “massive change in the landscape of health and safety law” which is about to come into force and makes for alarming reading.
