Freeths return the support to the Queen Elizabeth hospital

Freeths have had a rewarding few weeks with a number of cheque presentations to charities happening across the nation. Our Birmingham office was no exception as they recently handed over a cheque to their nominated local charity, the Queen Elizabeth hospital.Freeths Birmingham office members presenting the raised funds[caption id="attachment_3959" align="aligncenter" width="768"] Photo courtesy of Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham Charity[/caption]The staff in the Birmingham office took their fundraising to new heights during 2017 with a sponsored climb up Mount Snowdon. Other fundraising activities over the year included an office quiz, movie night and bake sales.

The local charity partnerships are a fantastic opportunity for staff to get involved in the communities close to home and see first-hand where and what their fundraising is going towards. This was particularly pertinent to the staff at the Birmingham office, whose families and friends have had need for care at the QE hospital from time to time, so the office decided to come together as a team and demonstrate their appreciation for the fantastic work and service provided at the QE hospital.

We are delighted to say that the Birmingham office raised over £3,000 (with gift aid over £3,600!) from which the dementia unit, skin cancer unit and heart unit will benefit.
