Freeths advises on the sale of insurance broker Wheatley Wright Insurance Services Limited to PIB Group Limited

Freeths has advised the shareholders of Wheatley Wright Insurance Services Limited and its underwriting arm Online Risk Solutions Limited (“WWG”) on their sale to PIB Group Limited (“PIB Group”).

WWG is a market-leading liability and associated risks insurance broking business based in Leicestershire. The business has a reputation as a liability insurance specialist and for offering exclusive insurance products which are tailor-made for specific trades or activities. Their focus is primarily within the construction plus engineering and manufacturing sectors with unique specialist enhanced cover. Nick Wright, Managing Director of WWG, and his management team will continue to lead the business following completion of the deal.

The Freeths team was led by London corporate partner Peter Hill, supported by a cross-firm team including corporate solicitor Naomi Spring and tax associate Matthew Switzer.
