Employment Seminar: Performance Management – Oxford – 28th February
When staff are not performing how do you recover the situation?
This update will consider the legal framework surrounding how HR professionals can manage the situation where employees are not performing to a required standard. The guidance will be brought to life with a case study, with the opportunity for interaction with fellow delegates.
Areas covered will include:
- Setting parameters through employment policies and procedures
- Addressing under-performance through consultation
- Managing risks associated with underperformance – including grievance and bullying claims
- Dealing with formal disciplinary procedures and dismissal
- Strategic use of settlement agreements
We will finish the session by looking at some cases arising where performance management has played a part, and will share lessons learnt from the outcomes of these.
The seminar will last for 1.5 hours, with networking over a light breakfast/lunch (see timings and dates at venues below). Attendance will qualify for CPD points.
Registration / lunch from 12.30pm. Seminar will close by 2.30pm
