
Local Government Real Estate Workshop – Leeds – 25 June
This local authority-centred training session will focus on the identification of the key issues that arise in the context of property acquisitions/disposals and regeneration/redevelopment projects including:
- An update on recent legal development including: EU procurement and developments agreements (Faraday), State aid, highways, compulsory purchase and village greens.
- A review of the key practical issues, and how to overcome them, encountered by local authorities in circumstances including: acquiring commercial property assets; disposing of land for development or redevelopment; participating in regeneration/development projects through corporate vehicles.
Presentation Style:
The session will mix presentations with a workshop that explores the principles outlined in the presentations.
