Freeths mark International Women's Day 2020 by supporting Sharewear

To mark International Women's Day on 8^th March 2020, Freeths have decided to support Sharewear, a charity who provide emergency clothing and shoes to people currently in crisis or unable to buy their own. The particular initiative we are supporting is to help get women in the UK back into work when they may have previously been held back due to not being able to afford suitable clothing.

People often say they have 'nothing to wear' as they look through their wardrobes and cupboards full of clothes. For some, 'nothing to wear' really does mean only the clothes on their backs. Clothing poverty is getting more common and many families and individuals often end up choosing between buying food, paying household bills or buying clothes.

We want to help give women the confidence to attend job interviews so we are asking you all to donate any unwanted work clothing, shoes and accessories.

It is often at the start of the year that we have a clear out looking ahead to Spring and Summer, so this could be a great opportunity to pass on any outfits you have not worn for a while or had been forgotten at the back of the wardrobe.Many of our offices are supporting this scheme, so please see the details below for your nearest drop-off point:
