Will the new Insolvency Bill relieve the pressure on your business?

The Government has now published the legislation that tenants have been waiting for to prevent landlords from serving statutory demands and applying for winding-up petitions. The Corporate Insolvency and Governance Bill which also includes new corporate restructuring tools is making its way through the parliamentary stages and is expected to become law shortly. Join our specialist Drinks Hospitality & Leisure team lawyers at Freeths - Leo Skinner (Real Estate) and Adam Boyd (Property Litigation) to discuss the detail of the draft legislation and what it means for landlords and tenants. We intend to run this as a roundtable discussion giving participants the opportunity to discuss issues with the lawyers and also with other operators in the pub and restaurant sector.  Adam will start with highlighting some of the changes anticipated and we will open up the discussion with participants.
