Planning: where to next?
The Government published its Planning White Paper “Planning for the future” in August 2020 proposing radical reforms. In early February 2022, the Government’s latest planning proposals were published in its Levelling Up White Paper which shifted emphasis.
This has left some people thinking where is planning going?
Are the Government’s proposed planning changes the bold ones that some people think are needed, repackaging of past ideas or an indication of a direction that is yet to be fully understood?
