Visa application centre in Kyiv, Ukraine has re-opened for limited purposes
The Home Office have confirmed that from 30 January 2023, the visa application centre in Kyiv, Ukraine has re-opened for limited purposes.
The application centre is open to applicants who need to submit their biometric information before travelling to the UK, and to those who require document scanning services for their UK visa applications.
Appointment availability is limited, and the Home Office have warned that the centre could close at short notice due to safety concerns relating to the ongoing war with Russia.
Applicants who attend the centre in Kyiv are permitted to retain their passports throughout the application process, as those whose applications are successfully granted must travel to Warsaw, Poland to collect their visas.
