Join Freeths and GuruYou for a practical skills and development session on the art of networking on Thursday 23rd November 2023. The event, led by Rebecca Mander from GuruYou, will cover topics such as:
- What do I say? v What do I ask? (The benefits of being interested more than interesting).
- Building a personal brand.
- LinkedIn in a way that is right for you.
- Speaking up in meetings and internal networking.
- How can we trick our brain into believing we are confident?.
- Being out of a comfort zone…is it fatal?.

Formerly the Managing Director of a global consumer goods company, Rebecca retrained as an executive coach and is highly valued for her straightforward and honest approach with compassion and understanding.
Initiate is an initiative set up by Freeths to encourage young professionals to work together, engage with one another and build relationships across the professional services sector by attending a diverse range of events. This event will be highly beneficial to young professionals and/or those just starting out in their career and need some confidence building in the art of networking.
Drinks and nibbles will be provided.
The session will start promptly at 5:30pm. Please ensure that you give yourself enough time to arrive and register access with the front reception desk in the Colmore Building. Freeths is on Floor 3.
