A growing number of couples unable to have children of their own are now turning to surrogacy. However, bringing a surrogate-born baby back into the UK is a legal minefield.

Those thinking of surrogacy may be faced with the complexities and contradictions of citizenship, immigration and family laws in at least two different jurisdictions as part of their surrogacy journey.

This webinar hopes to assist couples or individuals looking to explore and pursue surrogacy as an option to grow their family. In this session, Charlotte Coyle, Director at Freeths will be joined by Madeline Whelan, Family Barrister at 36 Family and Andrew Jones of Wesley Gryk Solicitors to discuss what surrogacy is and the current laws in place in England and Wales.
