Sourcing materials internationally is nothing new for retailers. However, managing the increased emphasis and corresponding risk around the origin of products, the amount of carbon created in the manufacture and transportation and the composition of the materials in those products, can present businesses with some significant challenges, especially brands with strong ESG credentials. How can you best manage these risks when production is sometimes thousands of miles away from your customers? The team will consider potential issues that can arise with suppliers and discuss how you can best protect your business against these risks.
