Major Stanley’s 2026

Freeths invite you to join them at Major Stanley’s 2026, one of the most prestigious fixtures in the Oxford University Rugby calendar.

Dating back to 1919, the Major Stanley’s XV match has welcomed some of the biggest names in rugby and remains a key part of Oxford’s Varsity Match preparations.

We’ll enjoy a full day of hospitality and rugby, including:

• Women’s Blues vs Major Stanley’s XV – 2:30pm

• Men’s Blues vs Major Stanley’s XV – 4:15pm

• Access to the Pavilion Bar and event facilities throughout the day

We hope you can join us for what promises to be a great day of rugby.
