Driving Strong Performance, Minimising Claims: Performance Management post-Employment Rights Act 2025

The Manchester Employment team are delighted to invite you to their next HR Matters Event, taking place on Thursday 19 March 2026, in person at our Manchester office.
    
In this interactive session, the expert team will provide their insights and lead a discussion on the key elements of an effective performance management process. With increasing pressure on employers to manage underperformance fairly and efficiently, and a new legislative landscape (with the introduction of the Employment Rights Act 2025), the session will provide a collaborative space to explore challenges, share experiences, and build confidence in navigating this complex area of law.

Topics for discussion will include:

• Navigating performance management in the context of the Employment Rights Act 2025
• What is poor performance and how this can be managed 
• The importance of clear and effective capability policies 
• Managing additional risk factors such as disability and ill health 
• Termination of employment and mitigating risks
