Bristol Initiate - UK Green Film Festival 2026

Bristol Initiate presents HAPPY - an exclusive screening and networking evening

After a bit of a hiatus, we're delighted to invite you to the return of Bristol Initiate with a private screening of the internationally acclaimed documentary HAPPY, hosted as part of the UK Green Film Festival.

As joint sponsors of the festival alongside Igloo and Calfordseaden, we're proud to support initiatives that encourage meaningful conversations around sustainability, wellbeing and the future of our communities.

This special event provides an opportunity to reconnect with fellow professionals, meet new contacts and enjoy a thought-provoking film in one of Bristol's most iconic venues. Continue discussions over drinks and nibbles after the screening.

About the film

Directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Roko Belic, HAPPY takes audiences on a journey around the world in search of what truly makes people happy.

From the swamps of Louisiana to the streets of Kolkata, the documentary combines real-life stories with insights from leading researchers in positive psychology and wellbeing to explore one of life's most universal questions.

The film features contributions from internationally recognised experts including Ed Diener, Sonja Lyubomirsky, Daniel Gilbert and Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi.

Places are limited and previous Initiate events have proven extremely popular, so we encourage early registration.
