Northern Education Business Forum presents Cyber risks and protecting your business
Cyber threats continue to evolve, creating significant commercial, operational and reputational risks for organisations. Join us for the next Northern Education Business Forum, where business leaders from across the education and skills market will come together to discuss current challenges, share experiences and gain practical insights from sector experts.
This session will feature an in-conversation discussion with well-known consultant, Alicia Coad, exploring the realities of cyber threats in today's digital environment and the steps organisations can take to strengthen their resilience.
An invited panel of education sector leaders will also share their experiences of protecting their organisations from cyber intrusion and managing risk in an increasingly connected world.
Alongside the cyber discussion, attendees will receive an update on recent legal and regulatory developments affecting the sector, including procurement mandates impacting Academy Trusts by the Department for Education.
The event also provides an opportunity to network with peers, exchange ideas and discuss common challenges facing education businesses. There will also be an optional networking lunch between 13:30 - 14:30.
Discussion topics
Cyber risks affecting education businesses
Practical strategies for strengthening cyber resilience
Experiences and lessons learned from sector leaders
