New employer duties on sexual harassment and third party harassment

From 30 October 2026, employers will face two important changes under the Employment Rights Act 2025:

• The requirement to take reasonable steps to prevent sexual harassment becomes a requirement to take all reasonable steps

• Employers will also face a new liability for third party harassment of their employees

The session is designed for HR leaders, people managers and in-house legal teams who need to understand what the new duties mean in practice and what actions to prioritise before these new obligations become law.
