Deputy managing partner promotion at Manchester office

Leading law firm Freeths are pleased to announce Kevin Pinkerton, Restructuring and Insolvency Partner at Freeths, has been appointed Deputy Managing Partner of the firm's Manchester office.

The role has been newly created to assist John May, Managing Partner of Freeths' Northern offices (Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield) and to further develop the firm's offering in Manchester. The new role is reflective of Freeths fast growth in the North of England, where the three Northern offices in the last financial year contributed just under £12m of Freeths total national turnover of £72m.

Kevin specialises in non-contentious insolvency and restructuring, has been with the firm for a decade and was promoted to partner in 2010.

Joey Byrne, National Head of Insolvency and Restructuring at Freeths, said: "This is a tremendous achievement and recognition of Kevin's hard work and plans for growth for our offering in Manchester." "We are pleased to announce Kevin's new role which is in recognition of his dedication and commitment to the firm. He has played a pivotal role in developing the Manchester office and I am sure the team will continue to develop and grow."
