Freeths' Sheffield corporate team have been shortlisted for a Dealmakers award and have also advised on several of the region's keynote deals which have been nominated in other categories.
The awards, organised by Yorkshire Business Insider, will be held on 15th June at the Mercure St Paul's Hotel and Spa in Sheffield.
Freeths have been shortlisted for the Law Firm of the Year category, up against four other regional firms.
The Sheffield corporate team advised on the sale of Gordon Lamb Group to Vertu Motors and the tax team advised on the acquisition/buy in by Coppergreen Developments, both of which are in the Deal of the Year £10m plus shortlist.
The firm was also involved in one of the deals shortlisted for the Mid-Market Deal of the Year award, advising on Red Industries acquisition of a landfill business from Tarmac.
