Stephen Lewis, Partner in the Freeths Real Estate Team has led a team which was involved in securing H&M as a tenant of the former BHS Store in Liverpool and advised on the delivery of the complex refurbishment programme culminating in it’s opening on Friday 30th November.
Sporting a new shopfront, a multi-million pound refurbishment, and a newly clad front elevation by the landlord Vabeld, the premises is now a great addition to the Lord Street shopping scene. H&M is relocating from it’s current Church Street premises nearby.
“This relocation from Church Street is a great opportunity to be able to offer our Liverpool customers an even better shopping experience and we are confident this new store will offer exactly that.” – Toni Galli, H&M’s country manager for UK and IE.Stephen said ‘’the refurbishment and consequential letting to H&M is one of the largest to take place in Liverpool in recent years and it is fantastic to see retail continuing to thrive in the city centre, greatly helped by Vabeld’s progressive and ongoing improvement of the Lord Street retail scene’.
