Coronavirus Hub Webinar Series - How to Manage Your Contracts in the New Normal

The next webinar in our Coronavirus Hub series will look at managing your contracts with customers and suppliers to best protect your business. This is always an important consideration, but is becoming increasingly so, given the difficult conditions businesses are currently facing, and recent developments in legislation and guidance.

What the session will deliver?

Professional Support Lawyer; Stephen Pearson, Commercial Partner; and Kirstin Roberts, Commercial Director, will lead this webinar and discuss the following:

  • The aspects of the Corporate Insolvency and Governance Bill, expected to become law in the upcoming weeks, that particularly affect the management of your contracts with other businesses. We'll talk about the new moratorium regime and the payment holidays available to companies in moratorium. We'll also talk about the restrictions on the use of contractual clauses that would allow suppliers to terminate in the event of customer insolvency.
  • Responsible contractual behaviour - How does Government's Responsible Contracting Guidance expects businesses to behave in the post-COVID-19 world, and how that affects your business in practice.
  • Protecting your business - How you can best manage performance of your contracts from a practical point of view to ensure you protect your business.

Date: Wednesday 24th June Time: 10:30 - 11:30am
