Freeths Wins Deal of the Year (Sub £10m) at 2025 Midlands Dealmakers Awards

The deal involved a multi-firm advisory team, including Evolve Corporate Finance, Freeths, Claritas Tax, Grant Thornton, and Travers Smith.

The sale of the Burton-based dog treat business required careful navigation by Freeths lawyers of:

• Differing cultural and commercial styles between UK and Scandinavian stakeholders
• A tight summer deadline with high operational demands
• A pre-deal reorganisation, a sophisticated earn-out structure and post-deal integration and and management incentivisation planning
