Andrew is a real estate lawyer with a broad range of commercial property expertise. He has acted for a wide variety of clients including developers, banks, investors, landlords, tenants, housing associations, management companies and public authorities.
As well as having acted for numerous types of clients, Andrew has experience in acting for clients in a broad range of sectors including residential development, social housing, retail and the public sector.
- Andrew recently acted for a local authority on two complex investment property acquisitions with a value of circa £4 million and £22 million respectively. Also among his recent cases are various lease deals and other property management transactions for landlords, acquisitions for residential developers and housing associations, and investment purchases for various local authorities.
- Recently advised a Housing Association on the acquisition of commercial units by way of an assignment of a long leasehold interest. The transaction was conditional on planning for student accommodation, on consent to fit-out, on title indemnity insurance being incepted, on superior mortgagee consent being granted and on numerous variations to both a Headlease and Lease (to facilitate change of use and to ensure the units would be fit for future securitisation).
