Callum Anderson

Callum is a UK and European patent attorney with expertise in the early stages of the patent lifecycle. He advises clients across a broad scope of technical areas within the Engineering space, from inventions relating to AI and electronics to complex mechanical systems.

The majority of his work focuses on invention capture and patent drafting, as well as large scale freedom-to-operate (FTO) projects and due diligence. He has been involved in several substantial drafting projects, preparing and coordinating multiple interlinked patent applications for delivery by the same deadline.

Callum supports a diverse range of clients from start-ups and university spinouts making their first patent application to supporting in-house IP teams at large multinational companies. He enjoys getting to know the people behind the inventions and collaborating with his clients to understand their business needs. He also regularly advise clients on how their IP strategy can complement their business needs.

Callum studied Physics at Imperial College London and qualified as a Chartered Patent Attorney in 2021. In 2022, he qualified as a European Patent Attorney, and obtained the IP litigation Certificate under the IPReg Rules. Callum is also an authorized representative at the Unified Patent Court (UPC).
