About Chloe
Chloe has a broad commercial disputes practice, with a particular focus on product liability, complex breach of contract claims, unfair prejudice petitions and unjust enrichment disputes.
She has recently been involved in successfully defending a proposed multi-million-pound claim for breach of warranties and indemnities arising out of a share purchase agreement, and in defending a £33 million High Court claim relating to allegedly defective pipe fittings.
Chloe acts for a range of manufacturers and owner-managed businesses, most recently advising a large steel manufacturing company in defending various breach of contract allegations.
With a keen interest in the manufacturing sector, she has developed a strong client base in this area and a sound commercial understanding of the operational and regulatory issues affecting manufacturers. She also keeps under review upcoming legal and market developments that may disrupt or support businesses operating in the sector.
She is known for a pragmatic and strategic approach, pursuing efficient and cost-effective routes to commercially sensible outcomes. This includes advising on practical next steps and, where appropriate, settlement strategy and negotiation.
