About Ella

Ella is an Associate in the Private Client Dispute Resolution team. She joined the firm in 2022 as a Legal Assistant and completed her training contract at Freeths.

Ella has over three years’ experience working on a wide range of private client disputes, including contentious wills and probate, claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, trust disputes and contentious Court of Protection matters. She also has experience in property-related disputes, including TOLATA claims and boundary disputes, as well as professional negligence claims arising in a private client context.

During her training contract, Ella spent time in the firm’s Trusts, Estates and Tax team. This provided her with a strong understanding of estate administration and tax considerations, which she brings to her litigation work to deliver commercially focused and pragmatic advice.

Ella was previously awarded the Nottingham Law Society Kevin De Silva Award in recognition of her legal writing.
