• The award winning Plymouth Energy Community on a multi-phase solar PV project which involved the roll out of 33 Solar PV schemes, including one of the largest rooftop installations in the UK at the time at the Plymouth Life Centre.

• The Cornwall Council on the Langarth Garden Village project which involves the strategic development of five schemes in Truro delivering 4000 homes, commercial and retail space and the Stadium for Cornwall with support from central government and the Housing Infrastructure Funding.
• Waverley Borough Council on the re-letting of a portfolio of Leisure Centres.
• The London Borough of Tower Hamlets on a new £350+ million regeneration scheme at Alisa Wharf in London involving multiple developers, landowners and funding from the Mayor of London.

Recent Work

• The grant funded acquisition and development of Langarth Garden Village, one of largest local government led development schemes in the UK.
• A major regeneration scheme in Farnborough involving the redevelopment of the Kingsmead Shopping Centre and Meads Retail Park to create a new quarter.
• The reorganisation of a significant real estate portfolio for a large landowner estate and food manufacturing business
• Advising The Crown Estate on a variety of multi-million pound retail park acquisitions as part of an initiative to broaden its’ investment activities as well as advising on high profile disposals.
• Advising The Copas Partnership on a development agreement with Bellway Homes which included complex overage terms, multiple land ownerships and equalisation mechanisms.
• Advising Teignbridge District Council on several strategic land developments, including the delivery of SANGS, the preparation and negotiation of options, transfers, overage deeds and advising on various ancillary issues including restrictive covenants and third party rights.
• Advising Princess Yachts Limited on the real estate aspects of the multi-million pound refinance of its business. Emma coordinated real estate aspects of the project and carried out due diligence and provision of CLLS Certificates.
• Advising Sutton Harbour Group in relation to various land holdings and land assembly for potential development.
• Advising the London Borough of Tower Hamlets on a new £200+ million regeneration scheme at Alisa Wharf in London. Emma supported the team with the land assembly, title due diligence and disclosure and enquiries process.
• Advising on the promotion and sale of land for development with various developers, housebuilders and landowners, including the negotiation of land promotion agreements, landowner collaboration agreements and overage agreements.

Portfolio Management

• Advising The Copas Partnership as landlord on the management of its’ property portfolios, including granting various leases, licences to occupy, licences for alterations and dealing with ancillary issues and documents including rent deposit deeds and rent reconciliation statements.
• Advising The Crown Estate on its’ portfolio management, including dealing with day to day leases, licenses and consents on its broad range of properties, including high profile lettings in central London.
• Advising EE on the management of its’ technical portfolios including various leases, licences and licences for alterations as tenant/occupier.
• Advising Western College on various property transactions relating to their portfolio management including bespoke joint venture agreements in relation to the sharing of teaching facilities.

Bespoke

• Advising The Crown Estate on its’ escheat portfolio, including liaising with the Treasury Solicitor, interested parties and dealing with the grant of a new freehold titles where appropriate.
• Advising the Nuclear Decommissioning Authority in relation to land assembly in preparation for the development of new nuclear power stations, including carrying out a Crichel Down review and ancillary pre-disposal steps.
