Gary Richardson

Gary works closely with a number of short term bridge funders on a wide range of projects. This includes managing a portfolio of transactions and working closely with, and often coordinating, a team of property, planning and construction specialists. He also works with the wider team on larger scale financing projects, assisting in all aspects of work.

Recent Work

• Assisting in relation to a high value multi-jurisdictional development funding transaction, involving the coordination of overseas counsel from several jurisdictions to ensure a smooth transaction.
• Coordinating a simultaneous refinance of two existing banking profiles with two lenders and complex subordination issues.

Gary has worked with a range of clients in relation to their commercial needs, from drafting terms and conditions for small regional retailers, to negotiating a suite of complex transitional service arrangements for a large construction industry supplier as part of a wider corporate restructure. He has built a good knowledge base of common commercial issues and has a keen eye for detail.

Recent Work

• Negotiating in respect of terms and conditions of purchase for a major UK supermarket and liaising with them in relation to specific supplier queries. Gary assisted in formulating a new business procedure so that the client could handle supplier comments and queries internally, without the need for ongoing consultation.
• Drafting new terms and conditions for a large UK gas supplier, including advice in relation to sector specific provisions and concerns.
