Harrison is a Senior Associate in the Restructuring and Insolvency team based in Manchester.
Whilst operating a practice that spans the spectrum of both contentious and non-contentious insolvency, Harrison has developed a particular specialism in the transactional, non-contentious aspects of insolvency and advisory matters. Harrison is a competent operator in respect of distressed business sales and is a trusted adviser to all stakeholders with an interest in distressed business sales, regularly acting for national and regional officeholders and purchasers of distressed businesses. Harrison also advises officeholders on technical queries which arise during an appointment including those relating to security, remuneration, extension applications, and other issues that may arise.
Harrison maintains a contentious practice in the corporate space and is regularly instructed to bring claims on behalf of Liquidators and Administrators in respect of antecedent transactions, breaches of duty, misfeasance and/ or unlawful dividends. Harrison is also regularly instructed on behalf of insolvent companies to apply for administration orders and/ or validation orders to permit business-critical payments.
