James is an Associate in the Corporate team and joined Freeths in 2025. He qualified as a solicitor in September 2023 after working in corporate and commercial, real estate, litigation and tax and trusts during his training.
 
James advises on a broad range of corporate matters including traditional mergers and acquisitions, management buy-outs, business and asset transfers, employee ownership trusts and bolt-on acquisitions. He also advises on limited liability partnerships and corporate reorganisations. James has worked on transactions across a variety of sectors including automotive, consultancy, healthcare and professional services.
