James is a managing associate in the Sheffield commercial team and advises on a range of commercial matter.
James’ practice covers a full suite of commercial support for his clients. This ranges from distribution, agency and supply agreements to major outsourcing and government infrastructure projects.
In addition to commercial contracts, James is a member of the rail team.
In 2025 James advised Rolling Stock Owning Companies and manufactures on deals with a combined value in excess £500 million.
James also advises a number of the firm’s key clients on strategic commercial agreements and works closely with the firm’s corporate teams to support on their transactions.
