About Lindsey
Lindsey is a Partner in Freeths’ Commercial Dispute Resolution team and Head of International Litigation. She advises businesses, public bodies and individuals on complex, high-value disputes, with particular expertise in cross-border commercial, finance and M&A related litigation and arbitration, aviation and aviation finance, public procurement and public law challenges and matters requiring urgent interim relief.
Lindsey leads Freeths’ aviation and aviation finance disputes practice. She advises organisations across the aviation value chain, including airlines, operators, lessors, owners, financiers, airports, manufacturers, suppliers, service providers and insurers. Her work covers aircraft and engine leasing and finance disputes, payment defaults and guarantees, asset preservation and recovery, repossession and delivery-up, maintenance and component claims, supply-chain disputes and urgent interim relief.
Lindsey also advises private-sector clients and public bodies on procurement challenges under the Procurement Act 2023 and represents clients in judicial review and other public law matters.
Clients turn to Lindsey for clear, commercial and strategic advice when a dispute demands rapid intervention. She helps them assess their position, protect assets and preserve options where urgent interim relief or coordinated action across several jurisdictions may be required.
Lindsey regularly works with overseas lawyers in multi-jurisdictional teams and as English co-counsel. Her trusted network spans Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and the Americas, enabling clients to assemble a team suited to the dispute, the relevant jurisdictions and their commercial objectives.
Lindsey also helps clients reduce the risk of future disputes through contract drafting, risk management and practical training. Her advice covers governing law, jurisdiction, enforceability, interpretation, termination, renegotiation and amendment.
