Michaela specialises in advising businesses on global IP strategy and protection, including advising on the availability of trade marks in the UK, the EU and worldwide, trade marks, trade mark matters, including filing and prosecuting trade mark applications through to registration before the United Kingdom Intellectual Property Office (“UKIPO”), before the European Union Intellectual Property Office (“EUIPO”) and the World International Property Organisation (WIPO), Conduct of trade mark oppositions, applications for invalidity and revocation, settlement negotiations and agreements, trade mark protection audits and reviews, and change of owner recordal programs.

Michaela has worked with a wide range of clients including multi-nationals, SMEs and individuals. On International matters, Michaela works closely with like minded associates overseas to ensure that her clients obtain good advice on protecting their IP worldwide.
