About Mike
Mike specialises in all aspects of corporate restructuring and corporate and personal insolvency work. This includes dealing with both contentious disputes and non-contentious advisory work. He advises all relevant stakeholders, including insolvency practitioners, creditors and other financiers, companies and their directors and individuals.
He regularly advises company directors as to their legal duties and obligations, where their companies are (or may be) insolvent – and in relation to litigation brought against them by insolvency practitioners.
Mike also specialises in debt recovery, particularly through insolvency processes. He has a particular knowledge of acting for local authorities in this regard; in relation to the recovery of unpaid council tax, business rates and other sums.

- Acting for Cayman Island residents in reaching a favourable resolution of disputes over the operation of a group of companies.
- Acting for the administrator of a company and selling the company’s assets for a sum worth well in excess of £1 million.
- Successfully defended a company and its directors following litigation brought by a liquidator against them, including recovery of all legal costs incurred.
