Pippa McKernan

Pippa is a Senior Associate in the Freeths Milton Keynes Corporate team. She qualified in September 2022 after gaining experience in Corporate, Commercial, Commercial Litigation, International Law and Employment Law during her training contract.

Since joining Freeths in 2024, Pippa has advised on a broad range of corporate matters, including private M&A, private equity investments, management buyouts, group reorganisations, equity roll ups, share buybacks and capital restructuring. Her experience covers a broad range of sectors, notably energy, hospitality, technology and logistics.

Pippa regularly works with in house legal teams, owner managed businesses and senior management, providing strategic advice throughout the business lifecycle. She also offers ongoing corporate advisory support, including guidance on corporate governance and compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements.

Having spent four years as external general counsel to a large international technical and engineering construction group, Pippa brings valuable insight into both in house and panel perspectives.
