Roxana Cioara

Roxana is a senior associate in the firm’s commercial dispute resolution team, specialising in complex, high-value disputes with a particular focus on cross-border and multi-jurisdictional matters. She advises a broad range of clients, including large private and public companies and high-net-worth individuals.

Roxana has a strong track record in advising on breach of contract claims and in obtaining urgent interim relief. Her experience includes securing applications for Norwich Pharmacal and Bankers Trust orders, freezing injunctions and anti-suit injunctions, often in cases involving international asset tracing and enforcement considerations.

Her practice spans a range of sectors, including energy and utilities, manufacturing and engineering, consumer products, food manufacturing and supply, and financial services. She is particularly experienced in disputes with a technical or financial dimension, working closely with experts to develop robust litigation strategies.

Roxana also has extensive experience in international arbitration (in particular in ICC and LCIA proceedings). She advises on all stages of the arbitral process, including anti-suit relief, section 18 applications, and the challenge, recognition and enforcement of arbitral awards across multiple jurisdictions.
