About Sachin
Sachin is a Senior Associate in the Construction and Engineering team at Freeths, specialising in energy construction projects. He has a particular focus on renewables.
He advises all stakeholders across energy projects – including developers, contractors, equity funders and offtakers – throughout the entire project lifecycle.
Sachin is highly experienced in structuring and negotiating complex EPCs and industry-standard construction contracts, including FIDIC, MF/1, NEC, and JCT.
His expertise extends to critical project development agreements such as PPAs, supply contracts and O&M contracts.
Drawing on his background in Environmental Science, Sachin also frequently publishes insights on climate change and renewable energy infrastructure.
Prior to joining Freeths, Sachin trained, qualified and spent two years post-qualification at an international law firm.
